I found that EADs from NSC are being issued for filers until Aug13, as of now. I guess the processing time is like a week and half of the week, for every day. So you could be getting in 3 weeks.

The good news is that I found my I-20s inside of a box, buried with some DVDs, cassettes (yes cassettes for cassette player) and random knick knacks! I was literally doing flap jacks after that.
The bad news is that now I have to clean up the mess!

Now the question is that: how long usually does it take for the response after I submit my evidences? It has to be 60 days or less, but I heard differently. Can anyone help me with that?

thanks Ramba. so under normal conditions if both the cases x and Y are preapproved and once Visa numbers are available x will get GC first as he has earlier PD.will we get any notification once our case is preapproved?

Anyways hiring a lawyer and paying some money would be a better place to get a right answer.

Company A has a 9 month probation period I am worried if i quiet company B and company A fire me later then I will be with out job.

So this way if company A does fire me during probation period I continue with company B :confused: on full time basis. Is this ok will it come to haunt me when I file for citizenship?

Post mortem would reveal a lot of information - but I doubt if the officials would ever do that - the very fact that they reversed the bulletin fearing investigation and media publicity is that something "not very good" has been happening and they covering it up by saying backlogs, retrogression, process must be improved, etc...

Plus they are saying that there will be forward movement, in the EB cut-off dates in the coming months to rhyme with the current negotatitions in Congress on CIR/ SKIL.
IV should not step behind in their legislation efforts. I sent my application to vermont based on the USCIS answering system on June 30th that folks with approved I-140s should send 485 applications to the center where it was approved. Any ideas, if there is a problem with that and if the app gets transferred how much time it will take.

Hi All,
I used to commute across the border from Canada to work(on h1b) between 2004 and 2006. My passport was stamped just the first time and never after that.
In 2006 we moved to US by road and started living here. Haven't left States since then. Our passports were checked as usual but not stamped at the border although the U-Haul I was driving was inspected and our luggage and other stuff was inspected too.
Now I have received a RFE from USCIS on our pending I- 485's that were filed last August. They want us to prove that our last date of entry was indeed what we have entered in the I-485 form.
Any suggestions on how to respond to this RFE.

It happened to me too, though my attorney advised to correct this before filing our 485. I was forced to take a vacation by my employer to go out of country and enter getting us a new I-94. Do u have any inspection documents etc that were given at the POE you might be able to provide that as proof.

I have used AC21 to change jobs
I have a closing statement from my previous employer mentioning the exercisable options.
Here it goes:
Exercisable Options
Price $30
grant date 1/10/2007
Shares exercisable 400
total price =12000
Last date to exercise
7/20/2008
However the market share value for the company now is 26.00
now my question is if I were to exercise before the last date will I be getting the total amount of $12000 or 26 x 400 = $10400 or the difference between the share values which is infact negative or nothing?
I find it difficult understand this financial terms. I dont understand clearly the term 'Exercisable options' Is there a hidden treasure am going to get?????
